Creative Movement

(ages 3 – 4 years old)
Introduction to dance! Students learn to move to music, creating rhythm, all while having fun with music. An easy-going introduction to the fun and discipline of dance.

 

This class runs for 45 minutes.

Jazz

(age 7 years old and up)


Discover various jazz styles and techniques. Energetic, quick tempo classes consists of traveling steps, jumps, turns and kicks as well as different forms of isolations.

Lyrical

(ages 8 years old and up)


Lyrical Dance is a style of dance combining Ballet and Jazz technique to express the emotion of a song or piece of choreography.

*Any dancers wishing to take Lyrical must be registered for a Ballet class in the same dance year.*

Ballet

(ages 5 and up)

The foundation of dance. A classical dance form combining grace and precision through steps and gestures to create expression through movement

Hip Hop

(ages 7 years old and up)


The dance of the inner rhythm and soul. Hip Hop is a very energetic form of dancing. It is unique in that it allows the dancers to perform with freedom movement, adding in their own personalities.

Contemporary

A combination of jazz, lyrical and classical ballet styles gives life to this genre. Contemporary dance strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.

Progressing Ballet Technique

(PBT) is an innovative strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students' technique by focusing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. A great addition to any dance genre to increase strength, flexibility and technique.
